We offer a full portfolio of surveying drone solutions including rotary drones from Parrot (under the ANAFI name).
The Parrot company is a leader in the fast-growing European drone industry and is recognised for its visionary approach to drone design. This makes it a perfect partner for us, as we strive to bring only the best in construction, mapping and inspection technology to our customers.
We began working with Parrot as a way to meet the specific needs of our customers.
We were asked for drones well suited to inspection work and construction progress reporting, which requires drones that have complete manoeuvrability, are able to hover in place and can carry out vertical take-offs and landings.
Our range of Parrot rotary drones offers all these functions and more. For example, the ANAFI USA which has a 32x zoom making it perfect for emergency services, and the ANAFI Ai with its excellent 4G comms which allow it to stay connected behind obstacles and obstructions.
Parrot drones deliver enhanced usability, so professional users can complete their tasks in the easiest, quickest ways.
KOREC customers say the flexibility, compact form, and usability of Parrot drones make their work easier. But these aren’t the only benefits they bring.
For companies like PDS Surveys, it is the drone’s ability to be extremely quiet and unobtrusive that makes them invaluable. When they needed to limit the impact they were having in a quiet residential area, the speed and quiet of these drones ensured they were successful.
Parrot also offer an open SDK to the developers’ community. Their cybersecurity developments have earned them a lot of trust when offering 4G comms in the ANAFI Ai. They ensure robust connectivity between the drone and its controller to protect users from interference during in-flight transfers. A white paper on the 4G comms can be downloaded here.
The maximum speed of the ANAFI Ai is 17 m/s forward and 16 m/s backwards. It also has a 4 m/s max ascent speed and 3 m/s descent.
The ANAFI Ai has an obstacle-avoidance system (OA) that uses stereo cameras located on either side of the main camera. The drone HUD includes a gauge showing if the conditions are suitable for the OA.
Depending on the model of drone and the charging conditions you can can charge a Parrot drone in two hours (accurate for an ANAFI Ai being charged at 20°c).
ANAFI drones are perfect for a range of inspection and photogrammetry tasks.
Inspection: buildings, infrastructures, telecom towers, wind turbines, solar panels, pipelines, refineries.
Photogrammetry: mapping, surveying, 3D modelling, orthophotography.
Construction monitoring: automated surveillance, real estate, insurance and video creation.
Yes, Drone Pilot Academy (DPA) is now an approved KOREC partner for drone demonstrations as well as our provider for flight/pilot training.
1 ANAFI Ai drone, 1 hard case, 1 Skycontroller 4 remote, 1 smart battery, 1 USB-PD (Power Delivery) fast charger, 1 USB-C – Lightning cable, 2 USB-C – USB-C cab and 1 additional set of propeller blades.
Cumbersome cables are no longer required with the Skycontroller4 as it works with an iPad mini or large smartphone. The controller also features an HDMI output, which allows for streaming videos from the ANAFI Ai.
The 4G connectivity of the ANAFI Ai removes transmission limitations and enables precise control at any distance.
For Beyond Visual Line of Sight flights, the ANAFI Ai even stays connected behind obstacles. For the first time, ANAFI Ai embeds a Secure Element in the drone and in its Skycontroller4. The 4G link between the drone and the user’s phone is encrypted. The Secure Element protects both the integrity of the software and the privacy of data transferred.
